About the Event

What’s better than recycling glass? No8’s bottle swap programme. Drink manufacturers used to do it and we’re bringing it back! Our still is electric, using hydro energy. The plants are foraged locally where possible, work with the Farmers’ Market and farmers around Dunedin. The waste liquids at one end of the distillation become gold. We built sustainability into our plan from day 1 because it saves the business and the environment, which just makes sense. We’re looking out all the time for new ways to reduce waste, but, to be honest, we’re running out of waste to produce.- come and see how its done.
